Cameroon World Cup 2022 squad: Who's in and who's out?

Who made Rigobert Song's squad for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar?

Cameroon are set to take part in their eighth World Cup later this year after missing out on the previous edition in Russia.

They booked their ticket for Qatar after seeing off Algeria in the qualification play-offs, with Karl Toko Ekambi as his side's hero following a goal in the dying seconds of extra time.

Their best run in the competition was a quarter-final finish back in 1990, when they won the hearts of fans across the world with their entertaining style of play.

They face a tough task to improve on that performance this time around as they were paired with favourites Brazil, Serbia and Switzerland in what will prove to be a tough group.

They have plenty of experience in their squad, though, and will hoping to spring a surprise come November.

Here are the final choices for their 26-man squad…

Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana seems to have finally taken the No.1 jersey with the Serie A giants following his move from Ajax and remains his country's first choice between the sticks.

Simon Ngapandouetnbu isn't the first choice at Marseille, but did find himself named on the bench for Cameroon's recent games and has been confirmed in the squad along with Devis Epassy.
