During Spurs' Premier League 2 quarter-final match with the Reds, 19-year-old forward Donley won the ball 40 yards or so from goal, took a touch and fizzed a perfect strike over goalkeeper Fabian Mrozek at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The shot was reminiscent of former Tottenham star Kane, now at Bayern Munich, who has scored many long-range goals during his career.

While Tottenham look set to finish this Premier League season in fifth under new manager Ange Postecoglou, and they came eighth last term with Kane up front, Spurs, arguably, could do with another prolific striker to bolster their attack. Kane came up through the north London team's ranks and finding another academy gem would be an unexpected bonus for Daniel Levy's club. Donley, in his time with the youth teams, has scored 37 goals and provided 31 assists in 92 games. He has played four times for the first-team.
